The collective test days in Bahrain continued today, with the Williams this time fastest, ahead of two Ferraris.
Thursday also did not show its best face, the team welcomed a cloudy, slightly rainy track. George Russell nevertheless quickly improved his best result from the previous day, and then Lewis Hamilton took the lead. In the second hour, a surprise, the intensity of the rain, which made it impossible to continue working. The reason was quite absurd: the teams were not prepared for rain tires (WTF??)

After the forced break, Hamilton accelerated even more, giving him the fastest time of the morning. Only one person managed to improve on this lap, Carlos Sainz, who was already closest to Hamilton in the morning stage, ending the day on the same compound ahead of the Briton. Sainz had an extremely productive day, leading the Williams by himself, completing 120 laps without any problems. The same could not be said for Liam Lawson, who also spent a full day, but had many difficulties with the technical side of the Red Bull, and his confidence also leaves much to be desired. McLaren "let go" of the day, last year's constructors' champion clearly focused on something else instead of chasing times, focusing rather on the long stages.
