Daniel Ricciardo is having a very difficult time at the moment, with the Australian sluggish at the wheel of the otherwise very competitive Racing Bulls, taking a spectacular beating from Yuki Tsunoda.
The embarrassing thing is that he's getting hit much harder than the recently ousted Nyck de Vries... It's not just the fans who are upset, with the professional world reportedly starting to wonder about Ricciardo's future. If the rumours from the paddock are to be believed, Helmut Marko is already sweating over the otherwise likeable driver's "performance" and has reportedly given him an ultimatum. If he's beaten by Tsunoda for the fourth time in four at the Japanese Grand Prix - which, it has to be said, he has every chance of beating a driver who is getting excited by his home crowd - then it's down and then up again. Daniel Ricciardo isn't helped by the fact that Liam Lawson is also very much on the move in the meantime, clearly keen to claim the spot for himself after a great start at last year's race. If "all goes well", he'll have it soon...
Will the Japanese Grand Prix be RICCIARDO'S SURVIVAL?
