Few people know that Max Verstappen is not only involved in Formula 1, he has his own racing team, which has just signed a contract with Aston Martin.
In light of the well-known F1 rumours, it is quite interesting and could be considered a strong approximation that Verstappen.com Racing will start with the British race car manufacturer and its direct support in the GT World Challenge Endurance series.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 will be driven by the trio of Harry King, Thierry Vermeulen, Chris Lulham. The challenge will be particularly exciting for the latter, as the youngster comes from the world of simulators, and this will be his first real-life race car. Team Verstappen has been supporting the development of young drivers for some time, but this will be the first time an athlete from a virtual environment has been given such an opportunity:
"I've always dreamed of helping young drivers one day, and I've been working on creating this opportunity for a simulator driver for some time now. Together with Chris Lulham, who we know well from the Team Redline simulator team, Thierry Vermeulen and Harry King, we're taking on a new and exciting challenge. We'll be working with a professional team in a championship that's very challenging. We still have a lot of work to do to get the most out of our cars and drivers, but our goal is clearly to fight at the front. It's going to be an exciting year!" said Max Verstappen, who could one day join the team.
