Williams launched its 2025 car, with Andrea Kimi Antonelli completing his first kilometres in the 2025 Mercedes in Spain.
The preparation is necessary because, despite Antonelli being perhaps the most mileage-laden rookie in history (almost 30 races, 9,000km+, according to the team), he hasn’t seemed particularly convincing so far. The private test was a 2020 Mercedes, a W11 model, with camouflage, and the fact that they have such faith in Antonelli shows that he could be the team’s first rookie since 2010.
The team sees him as a future world champion, despite the fact that he brutally damaged his Mercedes on his "debut" in the first practice session of the Italian Grand Prix. He has since driven the current race car again in Mexico and then in Abu Dhabi.

Do you think the new Kimi will cope on the track?
