Terrible chaos, the hellish journey of Lando Norris, the resurrection of Max Verstappen, with a touch of Alpine wonders. In short, this is the chronicle of the Brazilian Grand Prix.
The Brazilian Grand Prix hadn't even started yet, and we could already document the first retirement: Lance Stroll abandoned his Aston Martin on the warm-up lap and dug himself into the gravel. For him, the race was over... George Russell made the most of the "second" first starts, immediately taking the lead from Lando Norris. The field started relatively cleanly, only for Sergio Perez to spin, dropping him to last place. In the meantime, Max Verstappen in the second Red Bull showed a very strong comeback, within a few laps he was already ahead of Oscar Piastri in seventh position. Franco Colapinto and Oliver Bearman also shone, overtaking the suffering Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion was visibly struggling, could not find harmony with his car and was wandering around at the back of the field. The race was already starting to get boring when an extreme amount of water fell onto the track, and a safety car phase was called.
Before that, several other drivers visited the pit lane, including Collapinto, who seriously damaged his Williams on his out-lap. There was a red flag, a long wait, and then a standing start… Meanwhile, Esteban Ocon maintained his lead, but Lando Norris lost a lot of ground in the background due to a skid. In the meantime, Bearman ended up in the wall, but everything was in the right place, so the race could continue without disruption. In the meantime, Ocon's advantage grew, but Carlos Sainz arrived, had an accident, and the safety car came out again. Verstappen made better use of the new restart, taking the lead. And since Norris made a huge mistake, he practically handed the opportunity to his rival on a plate…
The next twenty laps passed in this way, Verstappen and two Alpine on the podium, the struggle in the field, and Norris "nowhere". In the remaining time there was no dramatic situation, Max Verstappen won the Brazilian Grand Prix by a huge margin, ahead of Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly. And with this he probably won another world title.
