Few laps, crashes, red flags, George Russell's success. In short, that's what happened in the first practice session of the Mexican Grand Prix.

Fernando Alonso, who had recovered but was still watching from the pits, and five young drivers were in FP1. Oliver Bearman in the Scuderia Ferrari, Robert Schwartzman in the Stakene, Felipe Drugovich in the Aston Martin, Patricio O'Ward in the McLaren, and Andrea Kimi Antonelli in the Mercedes were able to get back in the car. The race had barely started when a red flag was called due to debris on the track. Antonelli managed to get through it, fortunately the young Italian did not damage the car. The session had barely resumed when it had to be interrupted again, this time Bearman and Alexander Albon had a misunderstanding, which ended in a serious accident. Albon stopped his car, but Ferrari also received a lot. And what else happened during the session? Nothing special, George Russell won this stage ahead of Carlos Sainz and Yuki Tsunoda.
