Fun circus attractions, droid tracks, rule changes with no impact and less and less excitement. This is what anyone who is not a fan of Red Bull Racing sees in 2024. What is even worse is that a large part of the industry sees it too.
This is exactly what Eddie Jordan sees, and he, along with tradition, misses the loud engines that benefit the sport terribly. He is not alone in this:
"My God! When you were at a race, say Silverstone, and the field started with the V10s... It was incredible, you felt like the ground was going to open up under you. They had incredible power and dynamics, the fans loved it, everyone was thrilled with it, and they could bring it back, but they don't want to. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the drivers, I respect them a lot, but these cars these days... They're not even racing machines, they're tractors!

Ton monsters, bloody overweight, a real stain on the history of Formula 1. And by the way, it's a huge shame for the rule makers too and humiliating for those who have Formula 1 in their DNA. I hate these people for what they've done to this beautiful sport!" said Jordan, expressing his disappointing opinion about the FIA Liberty production. It may be a cliché, but we can't argue with this old guy.
