The End: The Dutch Grand Prix Says Goodbye in 2026

Koniec: Grand Prix Holandii pożegna się w 2026 roku

We have repeatedly raised our voices about the lack of respect for traditions by F1 management.

Here is another clear example. The hugely popular, absolute top-of-the-line race attendance promoter of the Dutch Grand Prix announced today that they are pulling out of the F1 circuit. Permanently. You can read his statement, and there is some truth to it, but we all know the truth: here come the Las Vegas, Miami, Qatar “droid” circuits, impersonal money bags that make the sport a business. Louder and louder… while the places that are the DNA of the sport are being pushed to the edge. Or into the abyss.

"We had many opportunities to continue. We could have changed tracks every year, but we didn't see the point. Maybe it's surprising, but after considering many aspects, we came to the conclusion that it doesn't make sense to continue. In 2026 there will be the last race in Zandvoort, where an iconic era in the history of Dutch sport will end. A one-time drop would not be such a big problem, the problem is that market forecasts show something else ... " - reads the bitter reality in the track's statement.
