Development work is underway at Scuderia Ferrari. Austin was eagerly awaited in Maranello, because after Monza, Baku and Singapore it was believed that the US Grand Prix could be decisive.
Well, fourth place and an easy win answered the questions and whetted the appetite of the Italians. If they have no chance in the drivers' championship, they are aiming for the constructors' title:
"Now we have to achieve the Constructors' Championship. Yes, it's an optimistic goal, but that's what we're here for, to deliver results. We don't want to count, so the best thing we can do is focus on our own achievements. That's what we did at the US Grand Prix! It was a really great weekend for Ferrari, both in terms of team unity and in the fight for the Constructors' Championship. Our main task is to try to repeat it as often as possible! We hope to do that, and then we can forget about the math. We were really looking forward to Austin, because it was a real test of our development. And as you can see, everything worked great, which is very promising for the future. Of course, we know very well that we won't win every race, but we still have to believe in strong results. I hope there will be many more in the future!" said Leclerc.
