Lewis Hamilton is in serious trouble and can no longer hide it, according to a Red Bull Racing advisor. His British desperation is abundantly clear.
Helmut Marko says Hamilton has already lost this year and is now fully focused on next year:
“The truth is that I see him as a very desperate person. I think he is already waiting for the changes in the regulations and for his race car for 2026, hoping that Scuderia Ferrari will build a car this time that suits him much better and give him the chance to win an eighth world title.”
Even Frederic Vasseur doesn't deny that Hamilton hasn't been feeling his best lately, but according to the team boss, that could work to his advantage:
“It is certain that he is depressed because he only finished seventh, while Charles Leclerc finished on the podium. But I think he can turn this into a strength, because the real problem would be if he were satisfied. He is not, he is hungry for success, motivated, and next to him is an extraordinary rival who always wants to get the best performances out of himself. He does not always succeed, so his disappointment is understandable. Now we just have to work and rule everything out, and I support him 2000% to find his true form.”
