McLaren has sent out an extremely strong message, but this time to its own drivers. Andrea Stella has stressed that a driver who does not support the interests of the team will not last long in the team!
Stella did not intend to hold back, the team boss does not want to see a trace of those disputes that hindered McLaren's tactics several times last year:
"With us, there is no first and second, both of our drivers have equal chances, we start this year with the same rules as last year. We are proud of our achievements last year and the behavior of our drivers, their positive cooperation. We have learned a lot from 2024, including the human factor. We were competitive, we will be, we cannot make mistakes, which still requires close cooperation. We have drawn all the lessons from last year, everyone will have a chance to prove their worth. However, it is important to emphasize that if someone does not believe in the principles of McLaren, then they are not the right person or the right driver for the team, we will say goodbye to them." - came a quite firm message from Stella.
