In recent days, many people have been "expertizing" on Liam Lawson's poor performances at the start of the season. However, Giancarlo Minardi, the team's former boss, does not share the public opinion. In his opinion, Lawson is not to blame for his performance.
Much more so Max Verstappen, who, despite his undeniable successes, has made Red Bull Racing the "head" of the team. Verstappen is the center on which everything rests, which makes it very difficult to stay on your feet:
"At Red Bull, the problems of one of the drivers are not caused by what most people think or suggest. As Verstappen's partner, everyone starts with a huge handicap, and it's not because the Dutchman is so incredibly good. It's much more about the fact that everything, but really every last screw, is adjusted and set for him, which has made all his previous partners suffer. And Liam Lawson can't cope with this either. In an optimal situation, you simply shouldn't agree to it, but because of his successes, Max already has such power that he will easily fight for it for himself," the Italian veteran defended the young Lawson.
