It’s a real sign that we’re getting closer to the start of the F1 season. The world champion also introduced a new structure to the track, and from tomorrow, work on the Bahrain track starts in earnest.
In the morning we only saw some boring ‘fake footage’ and a few video snippets, but later in the day everyone got what they were waiting for. During the 200km filming stage both Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson had the opportunity to take the RB21 out on track. Tomorrow and the rest of the week will be more of the same, with Verstappen starting on Wednesday and then Lawson continuing his testing in the afternoon. Thursday is all Lawson’s, while Friday is reserved for Verstappen. As they say, if a race car is pretty, it will usually be fast.
