It wasn't an easy weekend at the Australian Grand Prix, but McLaren, and above all Lando Norris, demonstrated exemplary professionalism, never giving up the chance to win. In Woking, they make no secret of their expectation of similar successes in the future...
This was expressed by Lando Norris, who stated: the best team of 2025 is McLaren, and whoever wants to become world champion must beat them:
"We know very well that we still have a lot to work on this year's car. We can't relax, if we let up in this situation we will lose, and if we think that everything is fine we will be overtaken. We will not do ourselves any favours!
However, we see and feel that this year we are the favourites, the team has done an amazing job and our car is literally flying. But we are aware that there will be races where we will also have difficulties. For example, if the season opener was in Bahrain, I don't think we would have won... But the fact is that this year we will be the team to beat if someone wants to fight for the world title. We have two drivers in the top position who will motivate each other and Oscar Piastri will not often do himself the favour of making mistakes. We were already strong in qualifying because we motivated each other, constantly accelerating and squeezing the last tenths of seconds out of the car. So, the car is good, but our team is also very strong, and this is just the beginning," Norris pointed out.
