Oscar Piastri has set the bar high over the past two years and this year he wants to raise it even higher. The Australian is not content with a supporting role and wants to win the individual world championship title alongside the constructors' title!
In his first season he finished 9th, in the second he finished 4th, and this year he openly and unofficially aims for the world champion title:
"I think I can become one of the favourites to fight for the world championship in 2025. I know I still have a lot to improve and learn, but now I'm at the point where there are days when I'm fully prepared for what it takes to win. I just have to put it all together. A lot of people said I lacked balance, but balance alone is not enough, you also need raw speed and good tyre management. What I see the most is that I need to improve in qualifying, to put my laps together better.

I have made life difficult for myself many times, finishing a few places behind the available position... Now I have reached the point where I just have to put everything together. We are already fighting at the top, here it is much more visible when something is not done really well, but I feel that I already have everything I need to win the world title," said Oscar Piastri firmly.
