Suddenly we were candidates for victory again, but Charles Leclerc managed to seize these opportunities, although I also wanted to win very much. I thought I didn't want to leave Scuderia Ferrari without a win. At the beginning of the year it would have been easy to lose motivation, the desire to go through all this. But fortunately then there was a three-week break, during which I managed to recharge my batteries, to become determined again. In the last five or six races I managed to motivate myself, I improved my racing skills, I trust the car more and I'm proud of how I did it all. But now I'm only thinking about winning the Constructors' Championship. It would be the perfect farewell for me!" said the Spanish classicist.
