Stella is passionate about the sport, which is evident from the fact that despite being the principal of a rival team, he enthusiastically followed Lewis Hamilton’s first steps at Ferrari:
"I watched from the outside and I can honestly say that I thought it was a really great debut from Lewis. I consider myself a Formula 1 fan, I worked at Scuderia Ferrari for a long time, so I can't deny that I followed the events with excitement. It was a real sporting story when a seven-time world champion joins the team with the greatest tradition in F1.
It's an incredible story, but for me there's another aspect that Lewis and Ferrari know very well. In the end, what will count is what happens on the track, and they are our rivals. We respect them, we watch them work together with excitement, but we only want one thing: to make their lives as difficult as possible and then beat them. There's no hiding it, with the greatest respect, but we will break Ferrari's enthusiasm!" said Andrea Stella with great respect, but even greater determination.
