A real festival of debutants will take place during the first practice session of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where, alongside Arthur Leclerc, five other debutants will suit up for the first time during a real Formula 1 race weekend.
This season, many teams have left the regulations until the last minute, which has resulted in an unusually high number of first appearances. Get used to it, because from 2025 this will also change, as due to stricter regulations, each team must provide 2 practice sessions for their debuting drivers, meaning that there will be more and more new faces on the tracks in the FP1 sessions. And who will it be, who will we see?
Here's the list:
Red Bull Racing: Isack Hadjar instead of Max Verstappen
Scuderia Ferrari: Arthur Leclerc instead of Carlos Sainz
McLaren: Ryō Hirakawa to replace Oscar Piastri

Aston Martin: Felipe Drugovich to replace Lance Stroll
Racing Bulls: Ayumu Iwasa replaces Yuki Tsunoda
Williams: Luke Browning to replace Alexander Albon
