The sprint race began with the US Grand Prix, where after a long delay Max Verstappen was able to start from pole position and converted it into victory.
Verstappen started well, but Lando Norris started even better, quickly finding himself behind the Dutchman in second position. Behind them, George Russell held his position steadily, while in the further areas there was not much happening. It was different in the Scuderia Ferrari camp, where the drivers competed fiercely with each other, and then also with the direct leaders. Reading the names between first and sixth place, we did not see anything surprising, but lower down we saw more: two Haas in the top ten, and Sergio Perez, as usual in a more powerful car, could not cope with Yuki Tsunoda, so events gained momentum. Finally, after a fierce battle, Perez managed to overtake the Japanese, whom even Oscar Piastri managed to overtake. On lap 19, Verstappen's victory was already unquestionable, but behind him there was a huge fight for the podium. Eventually, throughout the entire sprint, Carlos Sainz, who gave it his all, took second place ahead of Lando Norris.
The qualification will take place soon, hopefully with similar excitement!
