If there is one negative sensation of the season, it is certainly the struggle of Liam Lawson. The young Red Bull Racing driver is performing so poorly that his team may dismiss him before the Japanese Grand Prix...
Max Verstappen, of course, also has an opinion on the situation and – although it is not necessarily clear from the context – defended his teammate:
"We know, we see that in every other team the drivers are close to each other. It also shows that our car is extremely difficult to drive. I think that if Liam Lawson moved to Racing Bulls now, he would immediately be faster and more competitive. This car is much easier to drive than ours. Last year I didn't think it worked like that, the team saw the difference between Yuki Tsunoda and him, so they put him in the second Red Bull Racing car," said Max Verstappen.
