We ourselves used to like it much better when every presentation had a stake and then some testing involved, now it's really just PR protocol.
"I think it will look like a race weekend. Everyone will be there, all the drivers and teams, and in the media spotlight we will present the new face of our cars. Real serious F1 fans will be disappointed because these cars are not the same cars, but we will only see them for the first time at the tests. For me it looks a bit like we are preparing for the NFL draft, only this event is not so crucial for our future. But it is definitely good and positive that we are promoting the upcoming season and organizing a big party before we start racing. I think Stefano Domenicali has thought it out well, I am curious how it will work out in practice," mused Toto Wolff.
